Eight Month Update

There have been several exciting milestones this past month. Colin is rolling over both ways. He apparently is a stomach sleeper as we put him to bed on his back and wake to find him on his tummy every morning.

Colin also started scooting around on the floor. It started by spinning around on his tummy to get various toys within reach. Then it progressed to being able move for toys out of reach but he could only push himself backwards. Then he was able to lift his butt off the ground and dig his toes into the carpet to inch himself forward slowly (while pushing his big belly and sometimes face across the ground).

Colin is quite the talker now. Current syllables include la, da da, ma ma, na, and aagh. He even will repeat the different sounds we make including raspberries and zurburts. He will also occasionally wave bye-bye on command.
