The Year in Review

What an amazing, incredible, fun, wonderful, and splendid year it has been for us! Our little boy is one year old! We have greatly enjoyed watching our little Colin grow and develop, and we hope you have too!

From snuggly baby boy...

...to "Yo, check me out"

Here are a few of the highlights from the past year:

*Colin was born weighing 8lbs 9oz and at the one year doctor's visit he weighed in at 25lbs 14oz remaining in the 90% or above throughout the entire first year and gaining over 17lbs!

*He continues to be a tall boy growing over 12 inches this past year. He is in the 90% or above for height starting out at 19" and now standing over 31"

*started smiling at 5 weeks

*sitting at 5 months

*first tooth at 6 months with a total of 8 teeth as of his first birthday

*turning both tummy to back and back to tummy at 8 months

*full fledged crawling at 9 months

*standing at 10 months

*walking just before his first birthday!

Colin has always slept really well through the night starting at 10 weeks but naps have been more inconsistent. He loves reading books, dancing to music, wrestling, and playing "chase me." His favorite foods currently include bananas, pears, cereal, and chicken. We really love those chubby cheeks, big smiles, and the way he burrows into your arm and chest when he is tired. He is such a happy, fun boy and we couldn't be more proud or our Colin. We love you, sweetie. :)
